This Santa Ana project on Magnolia created a 600 sq ft ADU by combining a 420 sq ft conversion with a 180 sq ft addition — a hybrid approach that maximizes existing structure while adding just enough new footprint to fit a full two-bedroom, two-bathroom layout.
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms in 600 sq ft is an exceptionally efficient floor plan, giving each bedroom its own bathroom — ideal for roommates, multigenerational family, or maximizing rental income.
