Barak Golan — Founder & CEO

Barak founded Vision ADU in 2018 with a simple thesis: the accessory dwelling unit was about to become the most important housing type in California, and Southern California homeowners deserved a builder who treated them like partners — not transactions. Barak has completed 500+ construction projects spanning kitchens, full-gut renovations, and additions; that figure is not a count of homes built or Vision ADU projects. The Vision ADU team has completed over 75 ADUs across its service area and has a multilingual team serving homeowners in the region.

Jaime Costilla — Co-founder

Jaime previously oversaw a program through which more than 26,000 homes were insulated; those homes were not built by Vision ADU. He brings construction leadership and operations expertise to Vision ADU. He runs production across every active job site in San Diego County, and is the company's bridge to the Latino homeowner community that makes up a growing share of California's ADU boom. Jaime is fluent in English and Spanish and is available for bilingual interviews.
