From a stalled project to a finished Santa Ana ADU
Saul's 407-square-foot garage conversion began with a frustrating setback. The construction company he hired first abandoned the project and could not obtain the required permits. Saul called Vision ADU, and the team secured approval so the work could move forward.
That change gave Saul a clear path again. Instead of wondering whether the project would ever be completed, he could focus on how the compact one-bedroom, one-bath ADU should work for his property.
A small footprint, thoughtfully finished
Saul walks through a living area cooled by a mini-split and a kitchen arranged around an electric cooktop, microwave, sink facing the pool, and space for a refrigerator. A washer-and-dryer connection keeps the everyday essentials in one place.
The bedroom leads to a finished bathroom with a bright, practical shower. Every part of the 407-square-foot layout has a purpose, from the open living area to the compact kitchen.
Relief in the finished result
Today, Saul has a finished ADU instead of an unfinished project. He is happy with the result and thanks Vision ADU for building his new space. With a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen in place, he can look ahead to his next goal: putting the unit to work as a rental.
For Saul, the story is about more than an extra 407 square feet. It is about moving past a difficult start and finally seeing his plans become a home.
