Sarah rebuilt a Pacific Palisades home with its character intact
After a fire, Sarah faced a full gut remodel—but she did not want the home to lose what made it feel like itself. She worked through the decisions with the Vision ADU team rather than bringing in a separate designer, updating the house while holding on to its character.
A home shaped by thoughtful details
In the kitchen, Sarah opened up an old bar, selected finishes with Brock, and added an appliance garage to keep the counters useful. A Dutch door adds another practical touch: she says it helps with child safety and keeps ground dust out.

The same care continues through the bathrooms and bedrooms. Sarah highlights the tub, fish-scale or water-effect tile, and the mid-century-modern direction she wanted for the primary spaces.

Consistent flooring, new drywall and walls, and level floors helped the remodeled home feel connected from room to room. Sarah says the team stayed responsive and cared about the details when questions came up.
